This Cookie Policy explains how VerifiedCasinos.org uses cookies, local storage and similar technologies.

It should be read together with the Privacy Policy.

1. What cookies and similar technologies are

Cookies are small text files stored by a browser.

Similar technologies may include:

• local storage;
• session storage;
• pixels;
• tags;
• scripts;
• URL and click identifiers;
• server-side event records.

Some technologies are necessary for a requested service to work. Others may be used for analytics, attribution, advertising or personalisation.

2. Current first-party browser storage

At the date of this Policy, the first-party browser-storage item verified in the website code is:

The ageVerified value records only that the website age gate was confirmed. It does not contain a date of birth, identity document or casino account information.

It is separate from the newsletter age declaration sent to Mailchimp.

vcAnalyticsConsent stores only the analytics preference. It does not contain an email address, name, form value or account identifier.

3. Newsletter form

The newsletter form posts directly to Mailchimp.

The current VerifiedCasinos implementation does not load Mailchimp’s embedded validation script, advertising script or tracking pixel on the website merely by displaying the form.

When a visitor submits the form, the browser opens a Mailchimp-controlled response and confirmation flow. Mailchimp may use cookies or similar technologies on its own pages under its own policies.

4. Hosting and security technologies

Our hosting, content-delivery or security providers may use strictly necessary cookies, network information or server logs where required to:

• deliver pages;
• balance traffic;
• prevent abuse;
• identify malicious requests;
• maintain security and availability.

Provider-controlled names and durations may change according to the provider’s live configuration.

Strictly necessary technologies must not be repurposed for optional advertising or behavioural profiling.

5. Optional Keitaro analytics

The website contains a disabled-by-default Keitaro integration for counting visits and repeat visits. The integration runs only when PUBLIC_KEITARO_ENABLED is exactlytrue in a production build, the hostname isverifiedcasinos.org or www.verifiedcasinos.org, and the visitor has actively accepted analytics.

Rejecting analytics prevents the Keitaro script from loading. Continuing to browse is not consent. A visitor can later change or withdraw the choice through Cookie Settings in the footer.

After consent, the verified Keitaro script may set these first-party cookies:

A direct audit of the campaign response on 30 July 2026 also observed anaff.partners tracker-domain cookie named e3b0c4_3, configured for one day with Secure, HttpOnly andSameSite=None. Browser third-party-cookie controls may prevent it from being stored. Its value is generated by the tracker.

The integration sends the page hostname and path, page title, an origin-only referrer and pseudonymous tracker identifiers. It removes query strings and fragments from tracker data and does not read or send form values. It does not add a noscript pixel or report conversions.

The actual hosting provider, server location and configured statistics-retention period for the self-hosted aff.partners Keitaro installation have not yet been verified. Production analytics must remain disabled until those details are confirmed and disclosed.

The current website does not load Google Analytics, Meta Pixel or another non-essential advertising tracker.

6. Affiliate links and URL parameters

Some outbound affiliate links may contain ordinary URL parameters such as:

• source;
• campaign;
• content;
• placement;
• sub-ID;
• a pseudonymous click identifier.

These parameters may help identify which page or placement generated a referral.

VerifiedCasinos must not place email addresses, names, telephone numbers, dates of birth, casino usernames, payment details or other directly identifying personal data in affiliate URLs.

The destination website may set its own cookies after a visitor leaves VerifiedCasinos.org. Those technologies are controlled by the destination website.

7. Consent

Strictly necessary technologies may operate where they are required to provide a service requested by the visitor or to protect the website.

Where consent is required for an optional technology:

• no optional category may be preselected;
• continuing to browse, scrolling or closing a notice is not treated as consent;
• the visitor must be able to reject optional technologies;
• rejecting must be as easy as accepting;
• consent may be withdrawn.

8. Managing browser storage

Use the Cookie Settings control in the footer to accept, reject or withdraw analytics consent. Withdrawal removes the first-party s, subid,t and token cookies and prevents the tracker from loading on the next document.

You can also remove ageVerified, vcAnalyticsConsent and other site data through your browser’s privacy, cookie or site-storage settings.

Removing ageVerified means the website age gate may be shown again.

Browser settings may also block cookies or local storage. Blocking strictly necessary storage may affect website functionality.

9. External websites

External websites, including casino operators and Mailchimp-controlled pages, operate under their own cookie and privacy policies.

VerifiedCasinos does not control cookies set after a visitor leaves VerifiedCasinos.org.

10. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Cookie Policy when website technologies, providers, purposes or legal requirements change.
