How our verification score works

Six equally-weighted criteria

The score is the combination of six criteria, each carrying the same weight. We check every criterion for every casino, using the same sources and the same questions, then combine them into a single 0–10 number.

1. Trust & licensing. We confirm the licence number in the official regulator registry and check ownership, group history and any regulatory action. This is the foundation — a casino that fails here cannot score well overall.
2. Payout speed. We record the operator’s stated withdrawal times and verification requirements, and — where we have run a Payout Test — the real time money took to reach the tester.
3. Game selection. We assess the range and quality of games and studios, and whether the lobby is presented honestly rather than padded with duplicates.
4. Bonuses & terms. We read the bonus terms in full — wagering requirements, maximum bet, game weighting, expiry and cashout caps — and score the real value, not the headline number.
5. Support. We check the channels offered, their hours, and how a genuine support enquiry is handled in practice.
6. Mobile experience. We check how the site, games and cashier behave on a phone — where most players actually play — including load, layout and the withdrawal flow.

Two levels of truth

Not all evidence is equal, so we are careful to separate what we have verified from what we have tested.

Verified — every casino we list

Every listed casino is verified against official regulatory registries and checked across 40+ data points, then reviewed by a second person in a human fact-check. “Verified” means the licence, ownership and published terms are real and current as of the date shown — it does not, on its own, mean we have moved money through the casino.

Payout Tested — a stronger, separate signal

A smaller set of casinos also carries the Payout Tested badge. That badge only appears where one of our geo-based testers completed a real deposit and withdrawal in that region, with the amounts, method and the actual time to receive recorded. Because payout behaviour differs by country, the badge is tied to the geo it was tested in.We do not test every casino, and we never imply that we do — the badge is the honest boundary between what we checked on paper and what we proved with real money.

We keep it current

Casino terms, bonuses and even licences change. We re-check the facts and show the date they were last verified on every review, so you always know how fresh the information is. When a material fact changes — or a regulator takes action — we update the review and, where warranted, the score.
